Editorial Policy
The African Journal for Development Informatics (AJDI) adheres to the policies of its publisher, the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the Council of Scientific Editors (CSE), and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
During the initial editorial review, an editor may submit an editorial rejection decision, typically within one week of submission. This decision signifies that the manuscript is unsuitable for peer review and will not proceed further. Manuscripts deemed suitable for peer review are sent to two independent peer reviewers for evaluation. The processing editor considers both the peer reviews and the editor's own assessment of the manuscript.
