About the Journal

African Journal of Development Informatics (AJDI) is a multidisciplinary journal publishing research related to the role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in socio-economic development. The journal is focussed on developing countries, publishing in English and French.

AJDI aims to provide its readership with useful, clearly-written, insightful and innovative content.

As AJDI is an online journal, the readership is global. Therefore, the editorial committee will ensure that the content is global in scope, encouraging the submission of articles from the developing countries. As we seek to close the gap in ICT4D research output in Francophone Africa, each paper should have an English and French abstract.
